Explore and Learn
This course will be an opportunity to dive into the depths of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with the opportunity for becoming a registered craniosacral therapist with the BCTA/NA.
It will be a largely experiential journey diving into multidisciplinary areas of study. Cultivating embodied Presence, we relate to each other in ways that honor each individual as well as our group field. Foundational principles are deepened through practices that develop one’s capacity to perceive Stillness and abide in a trusting presence. We learn to rely on a greater organizing principle, some call the Tide, to guide the process as we orient to and amplify the Health inherent in the body.

Along with cranial anatomy and physiology we explore subtle perception of tone and texture in our grounded presence; potency expressed in the fluids and organizing matrix; embryology, the formative forces that create, heal and sustain life; interpersonal neurobiology; the autonomic nervous system, and pre and perinatal dynamics.

Meet the Teacher
Vileena Purpuri, RCST, has been immersed in this field for over 30 years, staffing foundation trainings and teaching in the US, Canada, and Europe. She is an approved teacher with BCTA/NA since 2019 and is a Rosen Method Bodyworker. She has studied pre and perinatal work with Ray Castellino, Anna Chitty and Myrna Martin and is deeply inspired by Stillness practices and immersions with Mike Boxhall and Georgia Milne.
She is currently practicing in Santa Cruz, teaching Foundation Level Trainings and Stillness retreats in the Santa Cruz area.
