Explore and Learn
This course will be an opportunity to dive into the depths of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with the opportunity for becoming a registered craniosacral therapist with the BCTA/NA.
It will be a largely experiential journey diving into multidisciplinary areas of study. Cultivating embodied Presence, we relate to each other in ways that honor each individual as well as our group field. Foundational are practices that deepen capacity to perceive Stillness as well as building a resilient nervous system that can meet challenging conditions with coherence and trust. We learn to rely on a greater organizing principle, what some call the Tide to guide the process as we orient to and amplify the health inherent in the body.

Along with cranial anatomy and physiology we explore subtle perception of rhythm, tone and texture, embryology, interpersonal neurobiology, the autonomic nervous system, fluid dynamics and pre and perinatal material.

Meet the Teacher
Vileena Purpuri, RCST has been immersed in this field for over 30 years, staffing foundation trainings and teaching in the US, Canada, and Europe. She is an approved teacher with BCTA/NA since 2019 and is also a Rosen Method Bodyworker. She has studied pre and perinatal work with Ray Castellino, Anna Chitty and Myrna Martin and has been deeply inspired through her immersion into Stillness with Mike Boxhall and Georgia Milne.
She is currently practicing in Santa Cruz, teaching Foundation Level Trainings and Stillness retreats in the Santa Cruz area.
